District 12 Quota International http://www.quotad12.org We Support, Mentor, Empower and Connect with Others Who Care Thu, 02 Sep 2010 05:28:15 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9 en hourly 1 Summer Picnic http://www.quotad12.org/archives/651 http://www.quotad12.org/archives/651#comments Thu, 02 Sep 2010 05:28:15 +0000 Melba Williams http://www.quotad12.org/?p=651 Our picnic was held August 8th at Cuesta Park in Mountain View.  The picnic tables were decorated with colorful paper flowers to celebrate our Mexican Fiesta theme.  We had approximately 80 people in attendance on a weather perfect day.  Picnic chair, Becky Galioto and her committee worked very hard to provide wonderful food choice, raffle prizes and great fun.  Thanks to our generous membership we were able to donate a hardy number of backpacks and school supplies to CSA for distribution to children in need.

At District 12 conference on April 17th, Gwen Jackson, International President of Quota installed Donna Austin as governor, Liz Tadman as Lt. Governor, Barbara Rogers as Secretary, Jean Blackburn as Treasurer and Shirlee Dolan as Parlimentarian. The meeting was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mountain View.

Donna Austin Governor, Pat Figueroa, Melba Williamson, Shirlee Dolan, Bess Whitaker, Gwen Jackson, International President elect, Quota visitor from India

District 12 installed a new governor, Donna Austin and  new Lt. Governor, Liz Tadman. All 5 districts were represented. Gwen Jackson, International  president elect was our district 12 guest and leader. District 12 met at Hilton Garden Inn in Mountain View.

Donna Austin, Governor, Pat Figueroa, Melba Williamson, Shirlee Dolan, Bess Whitaker, Pat Temple, Gwen Jackson International President Elect, Sarah Perez. District Governors. What a wonderful group. We have to thank them for keeping District 12 alive.
